Memphis Businesses Announce Key Leadership Changes and New Appointments

Memphis companies are experiencing significant leadership shifts. Many local organizations recently announced new hires and key promotions. These changes span various sectors, including urban development, healthcare, and finance. They reflect ongoing growth and strategic adjustments within the city’s business landscape.

Memphis River Parks Partnership Updates Leadership

The Memphis River Parks Partnership has announced several leadership promotions. Carol Coletta, formerly President and CEO, now serves as CEO. Ben Pretzer advanced from Vice President of Operations to Chief Operating Officer. Jannice Newman is now Chief Financial Officer. She previously served as Senior Director of Finance and Administration. Gaby Salazar also received a promotion. She moved from Director of Experience & Engagement to Senior Director of Experience & Engagement. These changes aim to strengthen the partnership’s focus on riverfront development.

New Faces in Key Memphis Roles

Several other organizations also welcomed new talent. The Memphis Medical District Collaborative appointed Kelsey Duncan. She is the new Director of Programs and Partnerships. Butler Snow law firm welcomed Racheal Rechi Watts. She joins as an associate in the litigation group. Reid Dulberger joined LRK as a Senior Advisor for Strategic Growth. ServiceMaster Brands named Greg Cross Senior Vice President of Supply Chain. Matt Muir became the new Chief Financial Officer for the Memphis Zoo. Meanwhile, Lina H. Evans took the helm as Executive Director of the Memphis & Shelby County Film & Television Commission. These additions bring new expertise to their respective fields.

Promotions Across Professional Services

Professional services firms in Memphis also celebrated internal advancements. Bass, Berry & Sims promoted Jessica W. Taveau to Member. At LRK, Mark Jones and Shweta Gore both became Principals. BankTennessee elevated Jason B. Hill to Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending. These promotions recognize significant contributions to their companies.

Airport Authority and Health Department See Changes

The Memphis Shelby County Airport Authority announced key internal promotions. George Williams is now Vice President of Human Resources. Terry L. Blue was promoted to Vice President of Operations. Scott Brockman continues his role as President and CEO. In local government, Dr. Alisa Haushalter retired as Director of the Shelby County Health Department. Dr. Michelle Taylor has since been appointed as the new Director. These transitions ensure continued operational excellence and public health leadership.

Additional Noteworthy Appointments

The Memphis Museum of Science & History (MoSH) named Kevin Thompson as its new CEO. The Memphis Convention & Visitors Bureau (MCVB) appointed J.D. Young. He now serves as Chief Sales Officer. Furthermore, Maranda Williams was appointed as a member of The Land Use Control Board. These appointments highlight a dynamic period for Memphis institutions.
