Hormel Foods Appoints Donald Monk as New Chief Information Officer

Austin, Minnesota – Hormel Foods Corporation recently announced a significant leadership change. Donald Monk brings a wealth of experience to Hormel Foods. He spent 20 years at PepsiCo. There, he held several senior IT leadership positions. His most recent role at PepsiCo was Senior Vice President and CIO for PepsiCo Foods North America. In this capacity, he managed IT for the company’s largest division. This division included brands like Frito-Lay and Quaker Foods North America.

Before his tenure at PepsiCo, Monk also worked at The Coca-Cola Company. He gained valuable experience in various leadership roles there. His career spans more than 25 years. This extensive background includes significant experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.

Driving Digital Transformation

Hormel Foods emphasizes the importance of technology for its future growth. Monk’s appointment underlines this commitment. He will be instrumental in integrating advanced digital solutions.
