Cheyenne Community Sports Bulletin: 2026 Season Updates
Cheyenne residents have many sports opportunities. This bulletin provides key information. It covers upcoming registrations and events for 2026. Local athletes of all ages can find an activity.
Youth Baseball Registrations and Tryouts
Several baseball programs are opening registrations. The Cheyenne American Legion Post 6 Baseball is holding tryouts soon. Legion A team tryouts are in late July 2026. The season runs through early August. Legion B, C, and D team tryouts will begin in late May 2026. Their season concludes in late July. Cheyenne Youth Baseball spring league registration is ongoing. The 2026 season runs from March through June. Players aged 3-14 are welcome. Visit cheyenneyouthbaseball.org for more information. You can also email info@cheyenneyouthbaseball.org.
The Cheyenne Little League is also registering players for Spring 2026. Registration ends on March 15, 2026. Divisions are available for ages 4-16. Player evaluations are set for March 22-23. Spring Soccer League Opportunities
The Cheyenne Soccer Club Recreational League offers spring play. Registration for the 2026 season ends on March 15. The league is for ages 3-18. All games take place at the Cheyenne Soccer Complex. A coaches meeting is planned for April 1. A parent meeting follows on April 2. Games will run from April 20 to June 1. Uniforms are required for all players. Visit cheyennesoccer.org to register.
Junior Golf Academy and Bowling League
The Cheyenne Sports Medicine & Physical Therapy Junior Golf Academy returns. Sessions run in June and July 2026. Specific dates are June 10-12, June 17-19, July 8-10, and July 15-17. Each session costs $150. Instruction is available for ages 7-18. Contact Chad Koschel at 307-630-7497 to register. These academies are held at Airport Golf Course.
Enrollment is open for the Cheyenne Youth Bowling League. This fall league starts in September 2026. It meets Saturdays at 9:00 AM. The cost is $10 per week. The league operates at Kingpin Fun Center. Call 307-632-2579 to sign up.
Specialized Sports Clinics and Camps
The Wyoming All-Stars Baseball Academy offers training. They provide pitching and hitting lessons. Fielding clinics are also available. Programs cater to all ages and skill levels. Contact Coach Ty Lain at ty.lain@laramie1.org for scheduling.
Cheyenne Frontier Days will host a Bull Riding Clinic. Dates are June 1-2 and June 8-9, 2026. The cost is $400. Instruction is for ages 10 and up. It takes place at the Laramie County Fairgrounds. Call 307-634-7067 for registration.
Laramie County Community College (LCCC) Summer Camps are scheduled. Camps run through June and July 2026. Sports include volleyball, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, wrestling, and esports. Ages and costs vary by camp. Visit lccc.wy.edu/camps for details.
Youth Track and Field
Registration for Youth Track & Field is now open. The program runs from May 15 to June 20, 2026. It is open to ages 5-14. Practices are held at Okie Blanchard Stadium. Meets occur every Wednesday morning. The cost is $60 per participant. Call 307-637-6401 to register. You can also visit active.com.
